The campground occupies ten acres of beautiful high-desert
country just two and one-half miles south of historic Taos Plaza.
The park's spacious sites with natural vegetation yield a sense
of privacy yet afford beautiful views in all directions. Lilacs,
purple asters, prickly pear cactus, golden rabbitbush and sagebrush
bloom in their respective seasons from spring through fall.
Many birds frequent the park,
among them several species of sparrows and finches, jays, black-billed
magpies, common ravens, bushtits, chickadees, black-headed grosbeaks,
western bluebirds and tanagers.
The staff of the Taos Valley RV Park and Campground are dedicated
professionals that are ready to help you plan your visit to Northern
New Mexico. We can provide information concerning the area's
historic and natural sites as well as tips on dining and shopping
in the Taos area.
