  Description

There are more than 100 species of mullet around the world. Although they are not related to the mullet, there are also many other fish that are called mullet. Of the true mullet there are only a half a dozen that have any commercial importance. Mullets exist in most parts of the world and grow to lengths of 50 cm (20 in) and weigh 1 kg (2 lbs).
