Cuba has the largest and most sophisticated lobster production industry

According to Carlos Sanchez, division director of purchasing and sales for
Beaver Street Fisheries Inc. based in Jacksonville, Fla., "They know
lobster the way they know cigars; they're good at it." Sanchez added
that most of Cuba's product is sold in the European retail sector, where
it has gained a strong brand identity from years of promotion. |
