Taos Ski Valley Openning Date

Exciting news from Taos! Snow started falling in late September 2002. Mid October and the snow guns were making that white powder nightly. As of early November, Taos has over 25 inches at midway. Thursday, November 28, 2002 is the announced official start of the 2002-2003 ski season for Taos, New Mexico.

Taos Half Off Specials

The first 13 days of December, Taos is offering lifts and lodging for half off. That's right, I said a 50% discount. Their adult lift tickets during early season are usually $32. Not this year. They're going back to the 70's oldies with $16 lift tickets. Not to be out done, Best Value Indian Hills Inn - Taos Plaza is offering the lowest room rates of any of the lodging offers in Taos - $24.50 for 1 or 2 Guests in a standard room. Added Guests for $5 per night. Deluxe upgrade for $29.50 a night. That takes me back to the late 70's. That's like giving the rooms away. My CFO is not happy with those rates. Again, I can't pay commissions on those ridiculous rates, call us today!

Rates will be higher after November 27! And they will be higher for walkins in January, etc.!
