Taos Ski Valley Closing Date - April 6, 2008
Some other ski areas close a week or two earlier and Sipapu may open weekends later! All depends upon snow depth. They all want bragging rights. Remember, pray for snow - early, often, deep, dry, and late!
Taos Picture Show - Here's a replacement for the Taos Talking Picture Festival! Late March thru early April, 2006, you'll enjoy 16 films and videos. Filmmakers present at many shows. 16 differing programs including Buster Keaton's classic comedy Steamboat Bill, Jr.. Tickets at 505-751-3658.

Are we motorcycle friendly? I should have had a photo of the 20+ bikes under the grandma willow and on the grass! We'll work with you to satisfy your parking needs! Big motor rally in Red River. Our cycle rules are simple - no bikes in the rooms, no bikes under the porches, and no donuts in the grass :-)
Taos School Of Music - June - August, annually
From the second half of June thru the early days of August, visitors can enjoy concerts and seminars almost weekly. Some are free in Taos Ski Valley. Some are admission based at Taos Community Auditorium. Perhaps you will extend your stay to experience the faculty/guest artist concerts or the student performances. Half the proceeds go to Taos area non-profit organizations.

Taos County Fair - mid to late August, annually
Taos Autumn Run Car Show - mid to late August, annually - hot rods, antique cars, trucks, more. Proceeds benefit and support local youth programs.
