About the Inn
|
The Indian Hills Inn,
Taos Plaza began serving Taos' lodging and motel needs in
the early 1900's. Originally named El Taoseno Courts, the Inn changed
many times over the years. One change occurred 1995 when the oldest
portion
(circa early 1900's) of the Inn was demolished and 30 new deluxe rooms
were built and available for Christmas 1995 - the winter with no snow!
Late 2007-early
2008 we're remodeling and refurnishing the older 2 queen bed family
rooms
- baths, flooring, furniture, more.

With the same ownership since 1975, we are the
independent Inn you can rely upon!
We are Guest inspected and ranked
highly. Owner Slenes' ancestoral property in Norway was roughly translated
to sleigh ness which was a stopping point on the trails from the mountains
to the shoreline. In other words, John continues in the family tradition
of meeting traveler needs.
