Upcoming Event		*Clear Light Publishing Corp. is pleased to announce the release of Giovanna's new book, Kateri: Native American Saint / The Life and Miracles of Kateri Tekakwitha.* This book takes the reader into the world of 17th Century Native Americans and Catholic missionaries. Kateri Tekakwitha (1656-1680), "The Lily of the Mohawks", was a Native American woman born near the Canadian border in present-day Auriesville, New York. She was Beatified by Pope John Paul II on June 22, 1980 and, when canonized, will be the first Native American woman to achieve Saintly status. Giovanna will participate in the 4th Annual New Mexico Women Authors’ Book Festival with the lecture "Who is Kateri", at The New Mexico History Museum Auditorium in Santa Fe Palace of the Governors Sunday, October 2nd, at 3:30 PM. Giovanna Paponetti Honored on NMSBDC Day 2004 in the state capitol on February 5th, 2004.	Giovanna was honored by the New Mexico Small Business Development Center and her painting of State Representative Nick Salazar was unveiled on February 5, 2004 at the State Legislature in the NM State Capitol Building in Santa Fe, NM in the Halls of History, East and West Wings.
